Lunch in Beautiful Nyhavn

I had lunch at Nyhavn Copenhagen yesterday wearing my favorite coat at the moment from Designer remix and leather pants from Crétón, Vans slip-ons and sweater from Monki.

It works it really does!

I have now been using the Growth mascara from Gosh for a period of 3 months and I have noticed a small growth in my lashes specially the lower ones that were brittle and damaged before, but on the other hand its also just a really nice mascara that gives you separated lashes and no clumps! :) A week ago I bought the Vichy eye and lash serum and it really works! My lashes are way thicker and not as fragile plus almost no lashes fall off when i wash my makeup off on the other hand I can not see much difference in the skin around the eye area but i will definitely keep on using this product if not only to strengthen my lashes! 

This is outfit I wore a few days ago when I went out to eat at restaurant Retour which btw is well worth it both for meat and fish lovers.. Pants, shoes and scarf are from Zara sweater is from HM and the bag is a second hand bargain, with inspiration from Dolce and Gabbana embroidered bags. Fake it till you make it ;) 

D&G beautiful bags! I love the direction they have taken with inspiration from Sicily and old style embroidery.

Hello new lover!

My first day at school i wore..

As I have said before I have taken up studying so today was my first day back on the school bench and of course like when I was a little girl on my first day in school I put on first day at school outfit ;) 

I'm wearing Long knitted cardi from Massimo Dutti, T-shirt from Monki, skirt from Zara and shoes from Topshop. My bag is from Weekdays and The sunglasses are from Dolce and Gabbana.

Post Holiday Diet

After holidays I always feel half toxic and I usually am looking forward to during the last days of my trips to go home and make my own food.. I love to know what goes in my food and making it at home I know for sure that it's all they way I want it. But even though my trip to Greece left me a bit aahhh you know bad about myself, then it was more because I maybe contained to many peeepppp units rather then such bad eating habits. Instead i learned many new ways of cooking the food that already excisted largely in my diet before i left. So now of course like always is the fridge full of vedgies and a bit of fruit, but since I also have a bit more time because Im starting school and no longer work all day I for the first time in a very long time can prepare things and store. Today i made Butter bean tapade that a chef in Greece thought me and contains Butter beans, onion and lemon. The Second can of jar is Hummus made with Lemon, cayenne pepper and olive oil. I am also a big fan of quinoa that provides you with protein Iron and Zink, I like to mix black, red and plain Quinoa together for a low carb high fiber mix. Quinoa salad with spring leeks, red peppers and yellow corn with fresh basil and mint folliwed by salt, pepper, and Hot spices like cayenne pepper if you like. And oven baked zucchini topped with mint and Olive oil. I add all the Oil aftervards to get the best from it and not ruin it.... These recipes can be used on Rugbread (brown danish bread with seeds) or in other salads in so many diffrent ways. Bon appetit! 

Impossible Sandal mission

I have been searching and searching for sandals this summer and found nothing that I was crazy about so today I stopped by stof 2000 and bought these feathers and made my own version of sandals meets carrie bradshaw style, sure my appartment looks now like the cat dragged a bird in but what the heck Im happy with my creation! Voila...

Ég datt (algjörlega óvart) inn á síðuna hjá & other stories og fékk þessa tilfinningu í magann (sem ég fæ aldrei!) að ég bara gjörsamlega verð að næla mér í þetta magnaða par sem var að detta inn hjá þeim! Ég mun eiga svefnlausar nætur þangað til þeir eru mínir og ég meina það.. Ekki dæma mig fólk ég er ekkert verri en þið ;) En allavega þegar þeir eru komnir í hús and they will... þá er ég algjörlega komin með look nr eitt fyrir sjóðandi heitar nætur á Mikonos... Með fína Pilsinu mínu frá TopShop sem ég keypti á spot prís á útsölu gott fólk og slengi einum klassískum body með og hver veit nema að eitthvað af fallegu skartgripunum hjá stories fái ekki að fljóta með í körfuna til að fullkomna lookið. Voila!

 

Im completely in love with these shoes from & Other stories and I will not sleep until they are mine.. Don`t JUDGE GOOD PEOPLE.. I cant explain it, it most be a sickness and you are welcome to drop me a line if you have a cure. But at least I have myself a perfect outfit numero uno for my trip to Mikonos, mixed with my skirt from TopShop (bought on sale) on spot price ;) and a classic black body. And who knows maybe some of other stories beautiful jewlerys will get to tag-along home with me.

Yesterday I wore this leopard set from Zara I love matching outfits from top to toe and yesterday i compared this one with my 1984 Nike air..

Can I have sugar with that?

What is better then a cup of coffee in the morning? Well I wouldnt mind to get one of those creative cups at my regular coffee shop but I guess i have to settle with my regular heart shape which I always think is a cute way to start the morning... ;)

Núna þegar það er 30 stiga hiti úti þá get ég að sjálfsögðu ekki beðið eftir að nota eitthvað af mínum hlýrri fatnaði hvað þá þessari Designer Remix Cashmere Kápu sem ég fjárfesti í nýverið. Liturinn á henni er ennþá hreinni og flottari í raun og veru og mun vera fullkomið kombó við nýju svörtu skin wet black buxurnar mínar frá ACNE og gömlu peysuna mína sem ég nældi mér í HM í San francisco úr mohair frá Lönu del rey línuna. En eins og komið er fær kápan aðeins að  koma útúr skápnum annað slagið svo ég geti dáist að henni.. :)

 

Now when its almost 30° outside and trust me that doesn`t happen often in Denmark I of course have the urge to start wearing all my warmer clothes which is so typical since i spend all winter (9 months) waiting to be able to wear my summer closed but i guess the Icelander in me  just likes winter a little bit more then summer (basically i cant tolerate the heat). Now Im most excited about being able to wear my Designer Remix coat that i havent been able to wear since i purchased it and I think it will look so good with my new ACNE jeans and a sweater in mohair in a slightly diffrent shade then the coat which is in a fantastic Coral color. I will for sure post a picture the first time i will wear this piece that for now only gets taken out ones in a while and I just look at it j'adore .... ;)

Dogsitting little Gizmo... Pleasure as always!

Dogsitting for my friends..  Thats from our little bike ride home earlier from work little Gizmo has now had a shower and is so tired from all the action and well from his look on the picture he doesnt look to happy eighter :) 

Holiday!

Þá er loksins komið að fríinu mínu langþráða en við munum halda til Mikonos í Grikklandi þann 4 ágúst og ég get ekki beðið eftir að vera á þessu líka svona rosalega kósý hóteli en Hotel Ostraco varð fyrir valinu þetta árið. En ég get ekki líst því hvað mig hlakkar til að borða góðan mat og liggja í afslöppun í 8 daga sem er frábær byrjun á þeirri tilbreytingu sem mun bíða mín þegar ég kem heim en þá byrja loksins í námi aftur og er rosalega spennt og glöð yfir þeirri ákvörðun sem ég hef tekið!

Finally we are going on a summer holiday and this year Mikonos was the place to be.. Im super excited to stay at this beautiful Hotel Ostraco on this beautiful Island that I have heard nothing but good things about.. 8 nights in heaven is just what I need before i start school again which Im so thrilled about and definetly is one of the best decision I have made for myself in years.. :) Happy days!
